We are incredibly proud to announce that our student, Melusi Kalubi-Ngeleka, has been recognized as one of the 2024-25 Currency Believers & Achievers by the Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) and Currency! This prestigious program celebrates Nebraska’s future leaders, recognizing high school seniors who exemplify excellence in academics, leadership, and community involvement. Melusi’s outstanding achievements have earned her a place among the 45 statewide honorees, showcasing the very best of what Nebraska students have to offer. As part of this recognition, these students will be celebrated throughout the year and featured on a statewide poster distributed to all NSAA member schools. Additionally, eight of the 45 honorees will receive $500 scholarships at a banquet in April 2025. Congratulations, Melusi, on this well-deserved honor! We are so proud of your hard work, leadership, and dedication to making a difference. #BelieversAndAchievers #NSAA #ProudMoment #CardinalPride #WeAreSSC

Celebrating Bilingual Excellence! We're so proud to announce that eight of our seniors have earned the NE Gold Seal of Biliteracy this fall! This prestigious award, as teacher Ana Peterson shared, "recognizes their high-level proficiency in Spanish." Each of these exceptional students will have this achievement noted on their transcripts and will receive a medallion to wear at graduation. In addition, Ms. Peterson is taking it a step further by submitting applications for the Global Seal of Biliteracy to further honor their skills. We can’t wait to see even more students reach these milestones in spring 2025! Thank you for supporting our bilingual students and celebrating the power of multilingualism! 🎉
