Exciting News! We are thrilled to announce the return of our engagement sessions at Tyson Foods! This initiative brings together representatives from our district to help Tyson employees stay connected with their children’s education in our schools. On Wednesday, we kicked off this effort with a fantastic team, including our superintendent, representation from the Communications and Community Engagement department, Registration department , EL/Newcomers department, and one of our bilingual community liaisons. 📅 Dates for upcoming visits can be found on our district’s Upcoming Events section or listed on our webpage at this link: https://www.ssccardinals.org/programsservices/communications/communications-parent-engagement-sessions.html This effort aligns with our strategic goal to enhance community engagement, and we couldn’t be more excited to partner with Tyson to support our families and students. 💬 Let’s keep building these strong connections—because it truly takes a village to ensure success for every child!

Celebrating Bilingual Excellence! We're so proud to announce that eight of our seniors have earned the NE Gold Seal of Biliteracy this fall! This prestigious award, as teacher Ana Peterson shared, "recognizes their high-level proficiency in Spanish." Each of these exceptional students will have this achievement noted on their transcripts and will receive a medallion to wear at graduation. In addition, Ms. Peterson is taking it a step further by submitting applications for the Global Seal of Biliteracy to further honor their skills. We can’t wait to see even more students reach these milestones in spring 2025! Thank you for supporting our bilingual students and celebrating the power of multilingualism! 🎉
