Today Nurse Danna & our incredible volunteers lead our health, vision & dental screenings for all of our students. Thank you to Siouxland Community Health Center for your dental staff, Western Iowa Tech Community College nursing students and our other volunteers who helped make today possible! Nurse Danna will be following up with families soon if any dental, vision or other concerns arise.

Shoutout to our amazing SSC Speech & Language Pathologists who have been leading hearings screenings across the district this past week. Our amazing Mrs. Shea lead the team at Covington today as they screened our 410 students all before lunchtime! Thanks team!!!

Welcome back Omar! We ❤️❤️❤️ having our former Covington students come back to show our current students the endless possibilities that await them! Omar is a Western Iowa Tech Community College nursing student who is just a semester away from graduation. Thank you Omar for coming back to your former elementary school to help us with our health screenings today!

Covington parents, just a reminder to pop in for a good book with students on Monday, October 7th! We can't wait to see you! 📖😃
