Maintenance Work Order System Update

South Sioux City Community Schools has transitioned to a new maintenance work order system. The previous SchoolDude platform has been replaced with Asset Essentials by Brightly, a more modern system that will help our Facilities Department track requests, manage assets, and respond to maintenance needs more efficiently.

The new system went live on March 16, 2026.

Staff members who submit maintenance work requests will now do so through Asset Essentials. If you do not typically submit maintenance requests, no action is required.

Staff who submit work orders should follow the instructions provided by the Facilities Department to create their account and begin submitting requests in the new system.
