The South Sioux City Community School's Family Literacy Program in Partnership with Northeast Community College are proud to offer FREE English classes!
Are you a parent or grandparent caring for a student in the South Sioux City Community Schools that would love to learn English?
Join us for a unique program designed just for you!
WHAT WE OFFER:
English Classes: Improve your English skills in a supportive environment.
Guest Speakers: Stay after class for valuable resources and community information.
Fun Activities & Crafts: Engage in creative and interactive projects.
Thursday Dinners: Enjoy a free meal with your children every Thursday evening.
FREE Daycare: While you learn, your children will receive high-quality, education-based care from school professionals.
We will also have our bilingual Community Liaison Heidy Gonzalez available on Tuesdays and Thursdays to connect our families with school resources.
HOW TO JOIN:
Contact Zaira Torres at 712-925-0145 to schedule your testing appointment.
All participants must complete a placement test through Northeast Community College to determine your learning level.
We encourage a tour of the program before taking the placement test.
