The Cardinal Educational Foundation sponsors a banquet each year to honor students in grades 9-12 at South Sioux City High School whose academic performance ranks them as Magna or Summa Cum Laude. This is a very special time for our young students to be recognized for their scholastic accomplishments.

We could not host this event without the help of donations.  The students are very appreciative of the support for this event shown by the business community.  We are also thankful for the many  organizations that help make this event possible. The students and school staff appreciate the leadership in the school, city and county.  

The Cardinal Educational Foundation is inviting local businesses and community partners to consider sponsoring the 2026 Honors Banquet, a long-standing tradition that recognizes South Sioux City High School students for exceptional academic achievement.
