Hall of Fame Eligibility and Selection Criteria:

The Cardinal Educational Foundation (CEF) and South Sioux City Community Schools are proud to continue the SSC Hall of Fame, an honor created to recognize members of the South Sioux City community and school district who, at some point in their lives, have made substantial contributions to the betterment of the community, the wider world, and/or to the advancement of the school or district. Nominees may include alumni, staff, community members, or groups whose achievements and service exemplify excellence and bring distinction to South Sioux City.

 Nominees must meet at least one of the following criteria:

• Successes achieved while a student at South Sioux City High School.

• Successes achieved while competing in college.

• Excellence in his or her chosen field.

• Outstanding service to the school, community, or profession (local, regional, or national level).

• Outstanding contributions to humanity (local, regional, or national level).

• Recognition as an Outstanding Team, Group, or Organization — such as athletic teams, performing arts ensembles, academic groups, clubs, or other collaborative efforts that have demonstrated excellence and brought distinction to South Sioux City Schools.

Who Can Nominate:
Anyone, regardless of residency, may submit a nomination for consideration for the SSC  Cardinal Hall of Fame.   We reserve the right to host a runoff with a group of finalists if needed.  Thank you
