Welcome to South Sioux City Community Schools!
If your student is new to the district, please contact our Central Registrar as soon as possible to begin the registration process. Registering early helps ensure your student is enrolled, scheduled, and ready for the first day of school.

South Sioux City Community Schools uses MySchoolBucks, a secure online payment system that allows families to conveniently manage their student's meal account from a computer or mobile device.

π TRANSPORTATION SERVICES & BUS REGISTRATION
π Need Transportation for the 2026β2027 School Year?
South Sioux City Community Schools partners with First Student to provide safe and reliable transportation services for district students.
Online bus registration closed on June 15, 2026. Families who are still interested in transportation services may contact the Transportation Department to inquire about availability.

Please note that transportation services are limited and are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
Important: Transportation is not available for students attending Cardinal Elementary or Harney Elementary, as these schools serve their surrounding neighborhoods.

Chromebook Insurance (Grades 6-12)
To help protect against the cost of accidental damage, families may purchase District Chromebook Insurance for $25 per student per year.

STUDENT ACCIDENT INSURANCE
Voluntary Student Accident Insurance Plans are available for families who wish to purchase additional coverage.

High School Students: Because all students are provided a Chromebook, there is no district-wide high school supply list. Teachers will inform students of any additional materials or supplies needed for specific courses during the first days of school.
